Professional History

Dean graduated from the University of Manitoba in 1996 with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) with distinction degree, and in 1997 with a Master of Accountancy degree. He placed fourth in Manitoba in the 1997 CA final examinations, winning the W.W. Shepherd Award. Dean is a seminar leader for CPA Manitoba and CPA Saskatchewan’s professional development programs and has lectured for both the University of Manitoba and for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Manitoba and Saskatchewan in their student education programs. Dean was facilitator for the CA School of Business uniform final examination preparation course, and has been a marker for the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants uniform final examination.

Professional History

In 1970, Peter received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Manitoba. In 1974, he became a Chartered Accountant.

Peter's accounting experience is international in scope, including two years in Paris, France as well as six months in Cape Town, South Africa.

Professional History

Keith's professional services experiences have included enterprises in retailing, distribution, manufacturing and transportation, and regulated financial services sectors as well as community based not-for-profit organizations.

Keith obtained his B. Comm. (Hons) from the Faculty of Management at the University of Manitoba in 1981. He obtained his Chartered Accountant (CA) designation in 1984, and his FCA in 2003.

He went on to provide professional service at an international CA firm for 12 years. In 1993, he joined Scarrow & Donald LLP.

Professional History

Kyle graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from the University of Manitoba in 2002. After spending four years in the customs brokerage industry, Kyle joined Scarrow & Donald LLP in 2006 and obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 2010. Kyle was involved in the CA School of Business program which included facilitating online programs, marking examinations, and developing course material.

In 2009, Dwayne received his Certified General Accountant designation while at Scarrow & Donald LLP, and two years later earned his Chartered Accountant designation. Dwayne also has extensive insurance experience, spending 10 years at MPI in numerous positions, and handling the most severe and complex injury claims.

Dwayne loves to coach; minor hockey, soccer and ultimate.

Professional History

In 1991, Doug graduated from the University of Manitoba with a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons.) degree, followed by a Masters of Accountancy in 1992. He received his Chartered Accountancy designation 1995.

Doug began his career with Scarrow & Donald as an articling student in 1990, leaving to start his own practice in 1995. The following year, he joined a former Scarrow & Donald partner to form Skinner Smith, Chartered Accountants.

In 1999, Doug merged his practice with Scarrow & Donald LLP and became a partner at this firm.

Scott started working at Scarrow & Donald LLP in 2003 as a student.  Scott graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2005 with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree and obtained his Chartered Accountant designation from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Manitoba in 2007. Scott facilitated and was involved in the development of materials for the CA School of Business, he has also overseen students writing the uniform final examination for the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.
